The Sunset Live Concert Series is held every second Saturday of the month at the McAllen Convention Center. It runs from April to June and October to December.
The venue focuses on promoting the arts and family fun, and giving artists/musicians a family-friendly space to promote their work. This series is a family- and pet-friendly event. Free to the public, the venue also has public and dog parks, as well as painting and slime-making stations, and corn-hole everyone can participate in. Available to rent are swan paddle boats while all may visit food trucks to grab dinner. Many work up an appetite while shopping from the more than 20 local vendors on hand.
On a spacious lawn during the series is a stage for live performances from 5-9 p.m.
Sunset Live Concert Series is the perfect evening for the entire family to enjoy. Remember to bring some lawn chairs or a blanket for the evening sunset serenade.
